In a nut shell...

So here goes my first blog... it won't be terribly spectacular... In an effort to catch up for the past 9 months (and I can't believe it's been 9 months) I put together a photo montage of the fun and significant things that we've done.  I am ashamed to say that we do not have photo documentation of everything, however, we've got most of it covered!  In a later post I'll be sure to introduce all of the people that Beckett has met in his first nine months.  One step at a time :)

Beckett Charlz was born on August 1, 2008!

He observed his first game day and made his first trip to Stillwater for Homecoming 2008- Go Pokes! Kenny would also point out that OSU had their best football season in a LONG time, just in time for Beckett to see!

His first fall was fun! Of course we had to go to the Pumpkin Patch. We went trick-or-treating with Dom and Emi for his first Halloween (his outfit says "I love my mummy").

Beckett was Baptized the weekend after his first Thanksgiving, this also happened to be the weekend he started teething- thus the crying.  As Fr. Josh told us "If he cries that means it took."  My Aunt Jeanette and Uncle Steve are Beckett's God Parents, but they couldn't make it over from AL that weekend so my mom and Grandma stood in as proxies.

Beckett's first Christmas was so much fun!!  Mimi and Uncle Elliot came over to our house and then we went and celebrated with the Grandma, Papaw, Dom, Emi, and Charly and Vannessa.

Finally, after 8 weeks of teething, we have teeth! He cut 4 at once, and another 4 quickly followed! Yes, he has 8 teeth now! 

His first road trip was to Arkansas to see Grandpa Don and Grandma Trish.

First came rolling over...

...and now we're crawling!!

That's 9 months in a nut shell.  I'm hoping that over the course of this blog the other stories will come out so that I can share the fun times, for right now, that'll do.
