My sweet girl!
Miss Ryan is 13 months (and a couple of days) old. I took these pictures yesterday so she is all decked out in her red, white, and blue.Ryan has progressed from walking to running. She tries so hard to keep up with Beckett! They love to play together, I think now that she can tag along close behind him, Beckett is enjoying having a friend to play with all the time.
Ryan's favorite things to play with are books (but she wants to read them herself and gets impatient when you don't turn the pages quickly), balls, and sippy cups (she loves to get them out of the drawer and throw them around). She can say mama, dada, book, ball, dog, and she signs "more". It amazes me how much she talks! She loves to gabber and talks to all of us a lot.
She is also starting to be pickier about her food. There are more and more things that she doesn't like. I am hoping that we can reintroduce them later and she will like them again. She used to devour bananas and now she just throws them on the floor... She does like broccoli though. So at least we are adding new foods to replace the ones she is tired of.
She is transitioning to 18-24 month clothes, but she is slimming a little. I miss her chubby cheeks :) 90% of her hair will stay in a pony tail. This has been nice since it is so hot outside. She is good about letting me fix her hair, as long as she has something to play with she will sit still. It is still curly and I can't wait for it to get longer and curlier!
Ryan is still a very happy little girl. It is a rare moment if she is in a bad mood. She is very loud though. The girl can scream! If she wants something- milk, food, toys, a nap- she will let you hear about it. It is funny to me because Beckett is loud too, when they are both tired or not in the mood to share, our house gets pretty loud! There is lots of laughter shared between them, and even then, they seem to feed off each other and the volume level rises. I love it though! It makes me so happy when they play together.
Oh how we love our sweet little girl!
