Ryan is embracing the independent three's. She loves to do what she wants to do. However, a lot of the time she wants to do whatever Beckett is doing. She rarely takes naps anymore. She goes at her own pace!
It is so fun to see her personality develop and to see how she is so entirely different than Beckett, but they get along so well. She loves her big brother fiercely. It absolutely melts my heart when I hear her say "come on, Beckett!" and he reciprocates the sentiment and let's her play super hero's with him. They are each other's friend and it's the best thing ever. They still have their struggles, and they aren't together all the time, but it's a wonderful relationship to watch. Siblings, awwww.
Ryan keeps us on our toes. We still have to be mindful of where she is and what she is doing because she has her moments of mischief and her moments of distruction :-) She is so happy and gets so excited that she just doesn't even realize the crazy mess she's making. She also loves to climb- on everything. That gets interesting.
Ryan is a good eater. She LOVES chocolate. And every time we go to Target she insists on a pink cake pop from Starbucks! I think she has my sweet tooth. Luckily, she really like fruit and veggies so I think she is doing ok.
As much as Ryan loves to play super hero's with Beckett, she loves, loves, loves being Elsa from Frozen. She knows the whole movie by heart. She sings along. She acts out the lines. The movie doesn't even have to be on- she will bust out in song just running around the house. It is fantastic. We listen to "Let It Go" in the car and hearing her tiny little voice belt out those words is adorable!!
In addition to singing "Let It Go", Ryan also enjoys the country music I listen to. She knows a couple Randy Rogers Band songs, she enjoys Eli Young Band and Sean McConnell, too. I think we have a music lover in her for sure. I will go ahead and give Kenny all the credit for any musical ability she may have.
It is hard to keep Ryan inside. She loves to be outside. She loves to dig, she loves to run, she loves to play in the water. She is definitely an outdoor girl. She does enjoy some things inside- she loves puzzles and reading. She is currently loving a Max & Ruby book that she can pretty much read to herself because she's heard it so many times!
I think that her favorite color is pink, her favorite food is chocolate or strawberries, her favorite tv show is Bubble Guppies or Scooby Do, her favorite movie is Frozen, her favorite thing to do is pretend play- dressing up like Elsa or a Cowgirl (or both) is what she does most often. She can count to 12 and half-way say her ABC's. She picks up on everything and explores everywhere.
