Ryan's birthday was a small celebration. Dinner with family and cookies for dessert! All of the decoration ideas came from Pinterest :-) Nothing too fancy, but plenty "girly".
Cookies, cookies and more cookies! I bought a cookie cake but made the rest- Snickerdoodle, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Thumbprint, Sugar Cookies, and Oreo Truffles. In all the excitement, I didn't get a picture of the full spread... but there was lots of pink and green... you get the idea.
Ryan was kind of funny about being the center of attention. She was happy, but sort of shy. It was really interesting to see how different her personality is from Beckett in situations like this.
Emi and Beckett were a big help when we were opening presents. Ryan opened two books first and was pretty uninterested in the rest of her gifts- until we hit the tissue paper! Of course, tearing paper was her favorite part.
Singing time was next. We all got a round of applause from the happy birthday girl!
It is safe to say she loved the icing. I was impressed that it really didn't get everywhere (other than her hands and face).
This party was a great way to celebrate our sweet little girl. The fun and cookies lasted all week!!
