We had a great 4th of July weekend this year.  Lots of family and fireworks!

Here's how our weekend went:

Evening of July 3rd- we had dinner and watched fireworks with Kenny's side of the family, Mimi came too so it was an extra good time! We watched "Rocket's Over Rhema" from a nearby parking lot. B was so tired and spent most of the time walking from the curb to the car to the curb to the car to the curb... I'm not sure how much of the actual fireworks show he (or any of us) got to see with all the back and forth, but it was still a good evening!

Afternoon of July 4th- we bought some small fireworks and set off a few during the day.  B wasn't too sure what to think.

Then I attempted to take 4th of July pictures of the kids, you can see how that went...

We swam and had dinner at my Aunt and Uncle's.  It was very fun to hang out with family! My cousin and his wife just moved here and they have a baby, too. Ryan won't be the only infant at family get togethers and now there are more cousins around- always a plus! Beckett loved swimming with Uncle Pat!

 Ryan enjoyed sleeping.

Evening of July 4th- When we got home we set off the rest of our fireworks and then sat back as our neighbors put on their fireworks shows.  There were 6 displays that we could see from our house and they went on for a long time! We watched for an hour and then called it a night. It was really fun to watch the big fireworks all around us!!
