First Zoo Trip of 2013

This week Beckett had his first ever experience with pink eye. Not fun.

It also happened to be the week he was supposed to go on a field trip to the zoo with his class. Well, we couldn't swing that. But as soon as he had been on antibiotics for 24 hours- we went to the zoo on our own.

It was actually the perfect time to go. All of the school groups had cleared out, the weather was perfect, all the animals were out, the indoor exhibits have been completely remodeled, and we had a great time!

This was right before she decided she didn't want to ride the carousel anymore. :)

He loves it!

I am so glad we were able to go. We had so much fun! I can't wait to go back, soon!
