Our biggest news this week is that Beckett has started walking!! He's taken a few steps before, but we weren't really "counting" that as walking, but this weekend (mostly today) he has started turning away from something he has pulled up on (the couch, safety gate, etc.) and taking multiple steps on his own. He has actually walked across our office/guest room and made it most of the way across the living room. As of right now he's being camera shy and we haven't gotten any good video of this new found ability of his, but hopefully that will come soon!
In other news, Beckett has gotten a lot of pool time this week with Mimi. I got to join them today and it was wonderful! The pool we were at has really wide steps and the top one was perfect for him to sit on and play.
Of course we had to take a bottle break.
Other than being pool bums, and walking around, we are pretty much just hanging out enjoying the summer, and enjoying Beckett's last weekend being "an infant". But I'm not dwelling on that.
Next week will be full of even more adventures, I'm sure!
