Christmas Merriness 2011

We have had such a wonderful Christmas! It has been so relaxing and fun, couldn't have asked for a better couple of days.

Our Christmas Eve was spent baking cookies and cleaning house.  Beckett got in on some of the cookie decorating. I have to admit, my intentions were to let him help more than he did. He wanted to poke his fingers in the dough or eat the cut out cookies... so his involvment was limited. :) At least he helped for a little bit!

He decorated a couple of cookies for Santa. Once again, he was more interested in sticking his fingers in the icing or eating as many mini M&M's as he could... so 4 cookies was it! :)

After cookies and nap time, we got the kids dressed for church and let them open thier first presents- jammies!! Beckett was kind enough to open Ryan's since she was way more into eating the ribbon.

Ryan looked so pretty in her dress. I love her Christmas outfit!

Beckett loved his belt! He kept calling it his "seat belt" though... and he would not leave his shirt tucked in! This is the only picture of him with it tucked... He's so handsome!

After church, it was Christmas with the Roda's! We had such a great time.
Beckett is getting into Toy Story so he was super excited to get Buzz, Woody, Rex, and Zurg!
Beckett also got some Cowboy boots- aren't they cute?

After all that excitement it was home to leave cookies for Santa and get some sleep!

This is what was waiting Christmas morning...

While waiting for the kids to wake up, I made cinnamon rolls- so good!

The b-ball was a hit everyone was excited to open more presents!

This is the gift B picked out for Ryan :) she loves it!

Mimi, GG, and Elliot came over for breakfast- and more presents!

Mimi gave Beckett these blocks- he loves them! We have spent a lot of time building towers, knocking towers over, building roads, walking on the roads, tearing the roads apart. Great fun!

Our last stop was at my mom's house. She had us and Elliot over for dinner. It was such a relaxing way to end the day. On the way over I channeled my inner PW. Just kidding. Isn't this sunset beautiful though?

All the boys watching basketball. That's BamBam looking at Beckett like "Will you please stop following me around?" Beckett loves to chase after him and be BamBam.

Such a wonderful holiday with family and fun! Just the way I like it.
