Zoo Time

Yesterday, we had a chance to head to the zoo.  It was a little hot and humid, but we went during the last hour and a half they were open and there were hardly any other people there. Fair trade off I guess :)

Of course we had to spend some time on the play ground. I think Beckett thought he was pretty special having all those slides to himself!

 How sweet is this big brother?

The rhinos are always a favorite. You never know when a Triceratops will be hanging out with the rhinos.

 Stop to growl at the lions...

 Ryan had fun too!

This was the part of this trip I was most excited about: the new Sea Lion Exhibit was open! We haven't seen this yet, so it was extra fun!

We got lucky, while we were checking everything out, the trainers came out to practice with the sea lions.  It wasn't a "show" but we got to see all the tricks!

After the sea lions we stopped by the zebras, giraffes, and then headed home!
