Sunday was Mother's Day, and my mom's birthday! We decided to have our families over for dinner. Kenny cooked- catfish, hushpuppies, coleslaw- it was delicious!
We also had a yummy dessert- I made this one :)
Everyone had a great time playing outside and talking. It was a wonderful way to celebrate two special occasions.

Being a mom is the greatest experience. I enjoy every minute, and I am so grateful for the wonderful family we have been blessed with. I truly try to never take anything for granted. I know that we are so fortunate to have a happy, healthy family and on a day like Mother's Day I am reminded even more of our blessings.
