Week in Review

We have had a very busy week! We have had a lot of fun though, so it has been a good, busy week.  The weather has been stormy but in between storms it has been beautiful! The Oklahoma humidity is setting in and the warmer temperatures are making the afternoons muggy and hot, but the evenings and mornings are great!

This week I let Beckett have a snack outside and it didn't occur to me until I was watching him that he was really enjoying himself.  Unintentionally, I combined his two favorite things- eating and outside. Needless to say he LOVED it!

We also had a little adventure in chainsaw-ing this week.  There is a tree behind our house that has gotten a bit too big.  With all the storms we've had Kenny decided now would be a good time to trim it down.  Charley and Dixie came over to help out.  Beckett enjoyed supervising the guys, and watching Dixie.

This was also an exciting week for Beckett because he got a new toy! Now he can mow just like Daddy.  And he really likes to mow, inside, outside, where ever! He loves his lawn mower :)  It was funny to see him try to maneuver it the first day, he got very frustrated when it wouldn't turn, or when he would run into things and not know how to get around them. But now he is much more patient and better at pushing it around.  I can tell that he'll be a pro by the time he's old enough to actually start mowing the yard!
