Beckett is one lucky 3 year old! He got to have 2 birthday celebrations! The weekend before his birthday, we all went over to my Dad's place in AR. My step-mom's kids and their kids were in town so we all got together for a fun Saturday! It was SO hot (like 100 and something) so we pretty much hung out and played video games and chit chatted. They also had a birthday cake for Beckett! He loved it- or should I say he loved the icing :) We had a very nice visit!
That blur you see is B, he pretty much spent the whole day bouncing around :)
Then, on Sunday, we had some family over for another birthday party! We had dinosaurs everywhere! Dino balloons, dino cupcakes, even a triceratops pinata.
B got some great gifts and we all had a wonderful time! It is funny to see how excited Beckett gets. This year, when he opened the first gift, we told him it was from Mimi, so he tried to give it to Mimi :) Once he realized all the gifts were for him he started saying "O, it's amazing!" He loved all of his dino decorations and his dino gifts. He has been so busy playing with his new dinos, his grill, and his camera!
The pinata was a little hard to break... B loved hitting it though! When it finally busted open (after lots of hitting and some help from Dad, Dom, and Papa) B was excited to see suckers and Starbursts- his favorite candies!
Then it was cupcake time!! B loved playing with the dins on top of the cupcakes more than he enjoyed the actual cupcake :)
He loves his camera! He can actually take pictures (just like his Aunt Jess :)) so there will probably be a "Beckett's Photography Blog" coming soon!
Beckett is so blessed by his family and friends!!
Yay B! Your first camera- I'm such a proud Aunt. ;) We'll have a mentoring sesh next time I'm down- for now, click away! :)
