Last weekend everyone was fine.
Then, Sunday night, Beckett started running a fever. It was pretty low so I figured he had caught a virus {virus has been a common word in our house for the past 6 weeks or so}. Rest and popsicles made him feel better. Once he felt like eating again he even had his own personal drive thru. He likes to stand on the big chair that backs up to our kitchen bar-top counter. Here, he ordered some oranges and "fork, please".
Then, Friday, Beckett woke up from nap with the dreaded croup cough. This is the 5th time in 13 months he's had it. Poor kid! So we've had more rest and popsicles this weekend. Saying lots of prayers that we'll be healthy for a long while after this!!
Ryan has been a trooper through it all. Very patient with us tending to Beckett and very excited to have her share of the attention while he's taking long naps :)
She is getting so big! Big enough to start rice cereal!! Last night, with big brother's supervision, she had her first taste. At first, she was not quite sure if she liked it... but by the end of the bowl she had caught on!
