Outside Play Time

This week the weather has been a little rainy, but that also means we have also had some very pleasant evenings. So, when it wasn't raining, we tried to make the most of our outside play time.

Becket LOVES to run around in the grass! He walks along the fence line and explores all around. His favorite thing to do in the back yard is to walk from the concrete patio onto the grass and then walk back onto the patio, at first he was unsure about the surface change but once he figured out how to walk from one to the other and keep his balance, he can't get enough!

Beckett knows what the word "outside" means and he gets very excited when you say it! Once he's outside, he chases the dogs in between palying at his water table and swinging in his swing.

Here, the neighbor was talking to him and he was "talking" back through the fence.

When it is raining, or it's too hot, we have found some interesting ways to pass a lazy weekend. This is my favorite. Beckett is fascinated with the washing machine. I caught him today camped out with blankie watching the show :)

This weekend has been more relaxed and "lazy" than previous ones. The only thing we did today was have lunch with my dad, step-mom and my nieces from Utah. I'll have to post pictures later since they are on Trish's camera :) We ate at Cracker Barrel before Sierra and Savannah had to fly home and Beckett LOVED all the toys and things to look at in the store. He was so good even though it was nap time! I was so glad that he had a good time- it made it easier for Kenny and I to have a good time (we were nervous he would "melt down" so close to nap time).

Kenny played golf this morning so he mowed this evening, it's so cute because when he's mowing Beckett will watch him through the window next to the door, as soon as he hears the mower outside he runs over to the window. It's funny! I think Beckett's going to enjoy helping his Daddy with yard work one of these days.
